No flavour combination seems to be off limits these days, so why not throw together hot cross buns and gin? Known for its fun collaborations and giveaways, Old Bridge Cellars has set its sights on the upcoming Easter holiday, bringing a new hot cross bun gin to WA’s shores.

Fossey’s, not yet stocked in the state, fashions a hot cross bun flavoured gin each year using quintessential Easter ingredients including nutmeg, cinnamon and citrus. Enjoyed only at Easter time, the seasonal gin is best paired with premium tonic and a sultana garnish.

If an Easter-themed gin wasn’t enticing enough, to seal the deal Old Bridge Cellars is offering a 4-pack of the famous North Street Store Hot Cross Buns with each pre-sale order of the gin.

Old Bridge Cellars Proprietor, Jay Beeson said they’re excited to be levelling-up this Easter with a new and exciting gin to add to their growing collection. “We’re seeing gin drinkers get more adventurous as the years go on. We’ve had some crazy flavours through the doors including umami parmesan, green ants and Christmas pudding - nothing seems to be too over the top for our customers,” Mr Beeson said.

“We have no doubt people will go wild for the Fossey’s Hot Cross Bun Gin this Easter.” If you’re not a gin drinker, then fear not! The crew have also pulled together an ‘adults only easter egg hunt’ pack which includes 16 mystery cans of beer that can be hidden around the garden with the chocolate come Easter Sunday.

The Easter weekend will kick off with a bang, with pre-sale orders for the gin available for pick up from the North Fremantle store on Thursday 15 April. Limited bottles available.
