So you are suffering from a serious case of regret after skipping the 2019 Truffle Kerfuffle at the weekend, or you are here because the festival has left you with an insatiable desire for the delicacy. Fear not!

Manjimup isn’t the only place showcasing their world famous ingredient this season, with some of Perth’s best chefs curating four to seven course menus around the exquisite black truffle. ⠀

Here is where you can indulge to your heart's content on the luxurious fungi  - minus the 600km round trip.

Odyssea City Beach

What: The Annual Truffle Dinner

Sourcing the freshest black truffles from the renowned Truffle and Wine Co, Oddysea will tantalise your taste buds with an unforgettable Mediterranean-inspired four course dining experience.  

Their menu starts with the holy trinity (which of course is prosciutto, triple fromage and Manjimup truffle), followed by truffle infused soft polenta, the restaurant's signature beef “wellington” served with a truffle Bearnaise and an indulgent Black Forest dessert to end the night on a sweet note.    

La Lola

What: The Black Truffle Dinner

La Lola are promising an evening of pure indulgence, with four courses designed around Stonebarn’s Manjimup Black Truffles, paired perfectly with premium wines. Served in the restaurants private dining room, this will be a feast to satisfy all of the senses.  

Bib & Tucker

What: Truffle & Cheese Dinner

Truffles and cheese - could there be a more heavenly pairing? Bib and Tucker have cultivated seven courses of decadence to showcase the black diamonds produced by Coomer’s Truffles.

Special guest and truffle connoisseur David Coomer will provide diners an insight into the industry, shedding light on the production process, whilst providing insight into their rarity and high demand.

Their menu features an array of quality local ingredients, including 12 hour veal shoulder, Carnavon asparagus, king oyster mushrooms, Blackwood Valley Beef and warm truffled brie.  

The Reveley

What: Truffle & Pinot Dinner

When: July 18

Rich, rare and delicious winter truffles will take centre stage in this five course celebration, with each dish perfectly paired to a selection of delicate Australian Pinot Noirs.

Drink in the scenic view as you delicacies such as truffle arancini, nicoise salad, duck pithivier, Margaret River Venison and hazelnut truffle panna cotta.    

Fraser’s

What: Truffle Dinner

Throughout seven sumptuous courses, Fraser’s Restaurant will unearth the true quality of Manjimup’s truffles, allowing its diners to savour one of the world’s most unique ingredients.

Take the lavish meal to the next level by opting to add a matched premium wine to each course.     

Their menu features girello veal carpaccio, skull island grilled tiger prawns, sweet spiced duck, morel pappardelle, braised beef cheek and caramelised bravo apples.

Nobu

What: Taste of Truffle Dinner

Embark on a taste journey with Nobu, as their skilled chefs creatively entwine their renowned cuisine with the opulent black truffle (harvested from the Stonebarn Trufflérie) over six courses.

While enjoying the celebration of the coveted ingredient, diners can enjoy a special Q&A with Stonebarn director Dion Rangé and menu creator Chef Leif Huru.

Menu highlights include scampi sashimi, whiskey cured smoked tuna with truffle fennel salad, truffle dusted slow cooked ocean trout, and pistachio truffle parfait.

Crown will continue the celebrations with a Black Truffle Takeover at Epicurean on July 23 and 30, with the lavish ingredient featured in an array of dishes, from starters to desserts.

Truffle crab risotto, tandoori truffle malai chicken tikka, truffle buttered roasted turkey and truffle creme brulee are just some of the delicious creations coming out of the kitchen.
