BeauVine Food & Wine Festival
When: Friday 19th - Sunday 21st October
Where: Birdwood Square, Beaufort Street
If you’re a foodie like me and enjoy a good drink on the side, this is what heaven looks like. The BeauVine Food & Wine Festival is back and bigger than ever. Held on the lush grounds of Birdwood Square with our amazing city skyline as the backdrop, you’ll get to enjoy over 500 different beers, wines, ciders and spirits with 12 of Perth's best restaurants serving up a variety of delicious food. It doesn't stop there; the festival will also feature a range of entertainment including live music, garden games and of course, the iconic BeauVine Ferris Wheel. If that's still not enough, each ticket will grant you a free spiegelau tasting glass and complimentary tastings for the first 2 hours of the session!
Seasons Opener: The Camfield
When: Saturday 20th October, 3pm - 10pm
Where: The Camfield, Burswood
There’s nothing like a colossal party to kickstart the summer and Seasons are ramping up to throw their biggest one yet. The Seasons Opener will take place at the classy Camfield bar (right next door to Perth's brand spanking new Optus Stadium), which boasts incredible scenery of the Swan River. To give you a better idea of what to expect, the setup will include two large customised stages, both indoor and outdoor spaces, and of course the classic Seasons silent disco party. So to all my fellow fans of the Perth bar and party scene, I seriously suggest you come check this one out.
2018 Mini British Film Festival
When: 25th October - 14th November
Where: Palace & Luna Palace Cinemas
Leaning towards something a bit more relaxed and cultured? The Mini British Film Festival returns to Perth for its sixth and most meritable year so far, featuring some of the most anticipated British films of the year and an all star lineup. You’ll get to experience an assortment of powerful, amusing and emotional stories, with everything from one of Hollywood's greatest double acts to the most daring heist committed in British criminal history. For those with an appreciation for cinema history, this year’s retrospective will focus on the ‘Swinging Sixties’, immersing you in the decade that changed cinema forever. Elmar’s In The Valley Oktoberfest
When: Saturday 13th October & Saturday 20th October, 11am - 5pm
Where: Elmar’s in the Valley, Henley Brook
Guten Tag! If there's anything we have in common with the Germans, it's our extensive love for non-stop drinking and festivity. Elmar’s Oktoberfest is the perfect opportunity to enjoy Germany’s biggest festival in the Swan Valley’s largest Biergarten. To those that have never celebrated Oktoberfest, think live music, drinking games, tug-o-war and endless meat eating. And if you’re worried about all those transportation expenses, don't stress! Each ticket will include free public transport for all guests before and after. So grab a few mates and put on your finest Lederhosen and Dirndl for a day of German celebration.
Castaway Rottnest Island

This year’s all Australian lineup includes Crooked Colours, Miami Horror, Carmouflage Rose, Friends of Friends DJ’s and the internationally loved Alison Wonderland. With the seashore as your dancefloor and the dazzling blue sea of thompson bay as the backdrop, Castaway is one of those festivals you’ll never forget, so don’t miss out!
