We’ve seen lots of new faces pop up in West Perth in recent months, much to the delight of Perth’s food fanatics. From ramen bars to the rejuvenated Melbourne Hotel, it’s about time the West end gave the inner-city a run for its money….and that’s certainly the case with the latest addition to QV1. Fresh from the food-lovers behind Mary Street Bakery, Ace Pizza and el PUBLICO, Tiny’s is the new West Perth hangout to bring together some of our favourite things as food-loving alcoholics - cocktails, craft beer and fresh feeds from a wood-fired grill.

Tucked away in the newly developed QV1 Plaza, Tiny’s features a contemporary restaurant, an alfresco bar area, and (wait for it) a speciality liquor emporium. But let’s talk about the real hero of the new venue….their signature rotisserie chicken. Succulent beyond any meat lover’s wildest, red rooster-fuelled dreams, the chicken is cooked on Tiny’s custom-made rotisserie and served alongside lashings of gravy and perfectly cooked potatoes. Now that we think about it, maybe it should be called Tasty’s, not Tiny’s.
If you’re not in it for the big feed, Tiny’s also serve up smaller, share-style snacks to accompany pre-show drinks or mid-work lunches. Some of their stand out dishes include a take on the infamous steak tartare, prawns roasted in bottarga butter, and flavoursome wood-grilled fish. And this is all cooked up by a top tier kitchen team that includes a chef who graced the likes of Rockpool Bar & Grill and Paul McCartney’s music tours (if it’s good enough for the Beatles, it’s good enough for us).

But Tiny’s isn’t just your stock standard inner-city hangout...the new venue also incorporates includes a liquor emporium boasting the best in locally and nationally sourced wines, spirits and bottled cocktails from Tiny’s in-house connoisseurs. Brought together by Rachael Niall and the Tiny’s wine-loving team, this space will serve as the setting for tastings, master classes and intimate dinners.
Tiny’s opened its doors to the public on Monday 30th April, and will be open for good times from Monday-Friday 11:30am till late, and Saturdays from 4pm till late.
