One of the quirkiest gift shops you’ll find in Perth’s north, Antedote Living is a shopaholics paradise. 

It’s the perfect place to find home-wares, personal items or decoration for your home. Although the store is large in appearance, it features ranges of unique products and even jewellery typical of a boutique retailer.

In early 2011, now shop owners Anthea and Dot both owned gift stores in Mount Hawthorn, which they decided to merge. Merging both stores also meant merging names, and Antedote is a clever play-on-words of Anthea and Dot’s names. Today, the shop is an amalgamation of the fine tastes of both owners and their eye for detail.

Both Dot (left) and Anthea (right) are self-confessed shopaholics, but there are no hints of carelessness in product choice in the store. Antedote has a simple mandate; the product must be eclectic, unique and suitable. The products in the store are intended for everyone; including kids, men, mums and young adults.
