Sneaker Life kicks off this month

The ultimate sneaker glow ups are about to hit Perth with ‘Sneaker Life’ kicking off this month at Cockburn Gateway.

Some of Perth’s best local artists will be taking up residence at Cockburn Gateway on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 16 – 26 June, ready to finesse your kicks with a selection of uber cool, unique customisation designs for all ages. Sneaker lovers will be spoilt for choice, with paint drips, mandalas, initials, tassels and other artistic designs on offer.

Perth locals Cass Jones, Linzi Carter and Morgan Joanel are the local artists taking part in the campaign that will see each shopper who purchases a pair of sneakers in centre qualify for the customisation.

Cockburn Gateway Centre Manager, Alexandra McAuliffe said it’s exciting to be bringing such a fun activation to the centre. “We’re looking forward to working with three amazing artists to bring this activation to life and have our customers roll out of the centre with some epic, customised looks,” she said.

“It’s no secret that personalisation is something customers really value. We wanted to bring this to our shoppers in a way that’s unique, encouraging them to showcase their own personal style.”

Perth TikTok star Mikolaj is excited for the offer after recently attending the centre for his ultimate sneaker transformation. “It was really cool to see so many epic designs come out of these local artists. I think it’ll be something that’s super well received from Cockburn Gateway’s shoppers,” he said.

The Sneaker Life zone will also feature a sneaker exhibition and photo opportunity, along with a fun reaction game where customers can WIN prizes from their favourite retailers.

Sneaker lovers can see the display and get their sneaker customisation right outside Big W. With all Cockburn Gateway retailers participating, customers can purchase a pair of kicks from anywhere in-centre, on any day between the 16th – 26th June to receive their free sneaker glow up.

The Sneaker Life zone will be open on Thursdays 4pm – 8pm, Saturdays 10am – 2pm and Sundays 11am – 3pm.
