S30 Studio, Lululemon & Factory Summer turn up the heat for Movember

S30 Studio is challenging the usual preconceptions of a ‘summer shred’ regime, shifting the focus from rock hard abs to a personal wellbeing journey – and they’re asking the people of Perth to join them.

Together with Lululemon and Factory Summer Festival, S30’s annual Sweatfest challenge is a 6-week fitness journey where participants will take on a ‘You vs You’ mentality, encouraged to compete against their personal physical and mental goals.

Mental strength won’t be the only thing on show as the S30 squad rock their Movember mos, joining Lululemon in their quest to spread awareness on men’s health. Throughout the 6-week challenge, Sweatfest participants will be encouraged to donate towards the worthy cause.

As well as judging traditional strength and agility, participants joining Sweatfest will be measured using a point-based system on attitude, intensity, effort, commitment and encouragement. The weekly schedule also includes outdoor yoga sessions on Sunday mornings on the South Perth foreshore in the spirit of wellness.

S30 Head Trainer Ret Hartley, who is heading up the Movember movement at the studio in partnership with Lululemon, said he is excited to be leading the way in changing what it means to ‘shred for summer’.

“We’re really looking forward to Sweatfest this year. In our industry we often see people consumed by the constant pressure to look a certain way. We’re working hard to refocus this energy and help our S30 members become a better version of themselves, whatever that means to them,” said Mr Hartley.

“This year, we’ve teamed up with Lululemon to give back to men’s health charity, Movember. The squad will be growing mos and encouraging donations throughout the Sweatfest challenge. I’ll also be supporting Lululemon with their corporate Movember classes in the Forrest Chase store.”

Sweatfest will be running at all S30 locations including the CBD flagship studio, Mount Lawley and South Perth. The challenge will be available for both existing S30 members, as well as those wanting to give it a go, with an exclusive discounted 6-week membership on offer for just $59 per week.

Sweatfest winners will be crowned with the perfect prize to rock their new summer mindset, heading to Factory Summer Festival with some coveted season tickets.

Sweatfest will officially kick off on Monday 1st November and will be running through to Tuesday 14th December. Discounted memberships are available until 25th October.
